This is our story...

“‘Galaxies'” is a dreamy sing along, fleshed out with undulating synths and smooth vocals from New York’s Father Dude. It’s light and summery, at times almost cartoonish, and represents a growing experimentalism for the young artist.” — Billboard

18-year-old Dutch producer, WRLD, has linked up with NYC-based vocalist, Father Dude, on the melodic, pop-leaning single, “Galaxies”, out today on NEST.

Inspired dually by the more ambient and beat-heavy sounds of electronic music, WRLD wrote the instrumental of “Galaxies” in somewhat of a departure from his usual musical approach, allowing floating arpeggios and warm synths to create an easygoing, above-the-clouds feel while setting a sturdy base of organic,┬áhip hop-inspired drum patterns. WRLD’s acute propensity for alluring pop music also takes effect, however, and the vocal talents of Father Dude transform the record into a soulful, funk-tinged production with equal parts accessibility and complexity.
