This is our story...

OG Sunday afternoon hip-hop vibes come live and direct in the form of Jackson Whalan and Jules Jenssen’s “Home Again”. Recorded in California on a cross-country tour, “Home Again” was completed in SubStation Studio upon Jackson and Jules’ return home to the East Coast. Fashioned from a Moog Sub37, old vinyl, and a live drum tone, the “smokey 70s Motown” vibe has all to do with the song’s core and very little to do with listener subjectivity. For me, this indicates musicians well-versed in the art of production; they got what they sought to create.
