In 2015, The Internet unleashed their breakout success Ego Death, a 12-track journey featuring talent from the likes of James Fauntleroy, Janelle Monaé, and Kaytranada. Since then, the band has further explored their solo efforts including Syd’s late night vibes with Fin, Matt Martian’s beautifully-crafted funk in The Drum Chord Theory, and Patrick Paige II’s impressive debut album Letters of Irrelevance. Following their Europe tour, The Internet is currently prepping to release their latest album titled Hive Mind next week on July 20th.

The Internet returns today with a new single titled “La Di Da.” The latest peek from Hive Mind is another feel-good tune that captures their seamless chemistry arriving on the heels of “Roll (Burbank Funk) and “Come Over.” Syd and Steve Lacy duet over funk-filled grooves from Christopher Smith, Matt Martian, and PatrickPaige II. Akin to the album’s title, the track stands as a culmination of their talents that glistens with their iconic flair and suave.
