Yet another Halloween weekend has come and gone, leaving us with the afterglow of two memorable celebrations these past Friday and Saturday nights. We kicked off the weekend at LIGHT Nightclub in Las Vegas with a big crew of homies, where Sonny played to a festive crowd adorned with very creative costumes, with additional sets from 12th Planet, DJ Snake, and Lunice. From there, we set back home to Los Angeles where Sonny played to thousands closing out the HARD Stage at Day of the Dead in Los Angeles.
Sonny readies his set for hours before his performance in his hotel room.
12th Planet always brings the hype. WE ARE MASSIV.
There was a $10,000 costume contest going on that night. People must have spent hundreds of dollars and scores of hours putting their impressive outfits together. Not sure who won, but that demon guy would’ve had my vote.
Sonny was definitely in the Day of the Dead spirit.
It was 1AM, and time for LIGHT to see Skrillex. Sonny sneaks up behind the decks as 12th Planet finishes up.

Sonny played a number of new tracks in Vegas, even closing with a brand new one he just finished before introducing DJ Snake to the stage.
We watched Snake put down a great set, with “Turn Down for What” and his AlunaGeorge remix definitely hitting high points along with a couple of tunes from his fellow Parisians, Daft Punk, getting thrown in the mix as well.
After staying at LIGHT until the lights came on, it was time to get some rest and head back to LA for HARD Day of the Dead.

So many great fans in Los Angeles.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to LIGHT in Las Vegas and HARD in Los Angeles. Much love to all!
