This is our story...

The Bangladesh-born producer Sajeeb Saha, better known as Jai Wolf, has displayed a slow but steady rise to fame. From collaborations with Manila Killa and OWSLA’s Mark Johns in the early stages of Moving Castle to landing official remixes for ODESZA and Kiiara, the road to success has been paved with countless hours of hard work.

In the summer of 2015, Jai Wolf debuted his first original single, “Indian Summer” — an uplifting, emotional anthem which would break through the mainstream receiving airtime on national television. As well, it would define the heart and soul of the project for years to come. A lifetime of music in the making, he now shares with the world his debut Kindred Spirits EP via the independent NYC record label, Mom+Pop.

The six-track release is an emotional journey from start to finish. His style is well-defined and consistent across all areas of his production, from the heartfelt percussion to the warm, cinematic builds and the dazzling synth-work. Each track contributes to the animation of the Jai Wolf project, and results in a cohesive work reflective of so much more. It’s breathtaking, and it’ll have you on the edge of your seat on every step along the way.

The EP opens with “This Space In My Heart Is For You”, a short introduction which feels like a breath of fresh air, light and inviting. Transitioning into the biggest release of his career thus far, “Indian Summer”, it’s pure e·mo·tion. The third track, “Gravity” featuring JMR on vocals, is my favourite of the release; a warm, R&B tune which feels like the soundtrack to the best night of your life. Get ready for full indie-dance catharsis nestled in at the halfway point as the lead single, “Like It’s Over” featuring MNDR. “The World Is Ours” features pitch-play vocal chops and soaring, sky-high energy from the lush, cascading synth-work. The release concludes with “Drive”, a collaboration with Chain Gang of 1974. It’s the grand finale – think slow dancing with the one you love most, following the most breathtaking adventure of heart.

Jai Wolf’s Kindred Spirits EP is everything we’ve been waiting for and more from the young, exceptionally talented producer. He will be touring extensively this Autumn/Winter in support of the release, which he describes as, “a really surreal experience that I’m ecstatic to show the world.” Check his remaining tour dates below and be sure to catch him on the road.
