As one of Critical Music’s mainstays, Hyroglifics never skimps when he delivers brand-spankin’ new tunes, and his latest offering is no different. We last talked about Hyroglifics’ addictive sound when he made an appearance on Critical Music’s fiery New Energy Vol. 1 compilation at the end of 2018, but he’s here with a full EP of new works this time around. His Cash Out EP drops on February 18th; in the meantime, we’ve got the exclusive premiere on one of its finest tunes.
“Empty Life” is dangerously simple in all the right ways: straightforward percussion and a driving bass are the only two ingredients necessary for this number. It acts as a suitable roller for any set meant for two-stepping on the dancefloor, and the rest of the EP proves to have the same effect, too. Check out “Empty Life” below and look out for Hyroglifics’ Cash Out EP next week — pre-order here.
