This is our story...

Over the weekend, RAM Records unleashed a solid pair of tunes from their sub-label ProgRAM that demonstrates why the future of drum and bass is so bright. Kallan HK made her ProgRAM debut last year with her So Much Pain/They Live EP, introducing junglists to her alluring drum and bass flair. Returning to the label once again, Kallan HK has released her latest Flight Path/Future Shock EP, another memorable double-release. Beginning with “Flight Path,” Kallan HK embraces the fundamental elements of drum and bass for a bubbly, wavy ride to the deep end of the electronic spectrum. On the flipside, she cranks up the intensity on “Future Shock,” where rippling basses beef up the bassline as rapid hi-hats drive us home. I’m a sucker for squeaky-clean mixdowns, and Kallan HK has got it totally nailed — it’s exciting to see her output in recent months and we’re looking forward to much, much more. Listen below.
