Born Dirty is back at it again, and his latest record burns hotter than a scorching, belligerent Las Vegas pool party in the middle of June. “Face” is a halftime breaks record reminiscent of the early 2000s DJ Fixx/DJ Icey dance world, and showcases Born Dirty’s always unique approach to dancefloor-oriented music. West Coast rapper G Perico is also featured on the track, whose 2017 album 2 Tha Left received a 7.7 on Pitchfork, being dubbed as charming, forward-looking, and honest. Between the two, Born Dirty and G Perico deliver their own interpretation of what it really means to be lit — it’s certified fire.
