nest10 // VOL 79 Tracklist
TÂCHES & Anabel Englund – Cha Cha (Velvet Version) [XLR8R]
A slow-burning, free release from England born-Mallorca raised producer TÂCHES. – D
KWAYE – Little Ones [Mind of a Genius]
It’s pretty hard to say this for most labels, but I genuinely admire every single artist on Zhu’s Mind Of A Genius label; their newest signee KWAYE is no exception. ‘Little Ones’ is only his second release yet, but I’m already waiting to see what this guy can do. – D
cln – breathe [NEST]
The latest release on NEST sees Brisbane’s cln singing and producing on “breathe,” where evocative chords and haunting vocals in the vein of James Blake create a gorgeous, minimal soundscape. – JB
Radiohead – Everything In Its Right Place (Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid Remix) [Filth on Acid]
I know, I know. Don’t touch the classics, right? Give this one a shot, trust.. – JB
Bitsune feat. White Sugar – Universe [OTODAYO]
Bitsune’s “Universe” is a strange electro-lullaby that washes over your senses promoting relaxation and joy with every note – this one is meant to be enjoyed with your eyes closed. – MH
Nine Lives – Heaven [Lowly Palace]
This robotic, slow-burning ballad is emotive and other-worldly electronica comprised of eclectic sounds you’d think would not belong together but somehow flow together into glitchy groove. – MH
Mister Lies – Cleam [self-released]
Mister Lies is an incredible musician. His art is introspective and easy to get lost in. “Cleam” is one of his most left-field tunes, but it’s definitely a good start if you’re looking for something new and emotional. It’s five years old, but hits just as well even now. Your next step after “Cleam” should be his Mowgli album, front to back. – NB
chromonicci. & KMB ~ Pendulum [TreeHôuse Vibes]
Here’s an easy vibe to get you through a difficult day. – NB
Timbaland & Magoo – Indian Flute (Ivy Lab’s 20/20 Bootleg) [self-released]
It took me a minute to realize where this melody line came from, but even before I knew, its familiarity, combined with the romping way Ivy Lab’s take sleazes and slaps, left me bedridden. – NR
