This is our story...

Following a two year hiatus spent writing and experimenting, Melbourne’s own Miami Horror are back with five brand new tracks released as The Shapes, a sonic and artistic experience which they seem unwilling to label as an EP or LP. These tracks see the band delve deep into rhythm and percussion with influences ranging from pop-art, Caribbean funk and African beats, to 80’s synth melodies and distinctly Talking Heads-esque vocals. These songs are so much fun, “Sign Of The Times” is clearly an indirect homage to Prince while the lead single “Leila” is bright and bubbling indietronic that, at moments, sounds like Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories – enjoy!
