This is our story...

Well, Happy Holidays. The track on repeat today is the Flatbush ZOMBiES “Still Palm Trees (G-MIX)” featuring Snoop Dogg. Sounds like the proper way to celebrate, right?

The Flatbush ZOMBiES, composed of Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick Arc Elliott, are a supernatural hip-hop group based out of Brooklyn, New York. Initially, the trio climbed up from beneath the East Coast hip-hop movement and began working with The Underachievers and Pro Era. Since debuting in 2016 with their 3001: A Laced Odyssey album, their clever drug-rap has become an afterglow to many.

In 2013, The Flatbush ZOMBiES originally self-released “Palm Trees” as a part of their BetterOffDEAD mixtape. This year, they decided to revamp it ‘G-MIX’ style and add the OG Snoop Dogg on the track. In its four minutes and twenty seconds, you’ll hear each of the ZOMBiES narcotic rhymes flow into one another as Snoop Dogg (with a hint of Snoop Lion) delivers a laid-back verse praising the chronic. “Still Palm Trees” takes you to a higher head space with a deeper bassline and heavenly back vocals.

Now, I recommend sitting back and letting the indigo children and the big Dogg himself take you on a spiritual trip while you bump this one.
