The highly anticipated follow up to Dog Blood‘s debut release is finally out, boasting 3 originals from the power duo along with a pair of remixes of the title track from The M Machine and Millions Like Us. The Middle Finger Pt. 2 EP has travelled the world in 2013; Coachella, WOMB in Tokyo, the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, HARD Summer and many more have witnessed the powerful new production from Sonny and Alex. Today, it’s available to all via iTunes.
The title track, which has been used as the guys’ go-to opening tune since early spring, brings in similar elements of breaks from their initial release, along with heavy stabs, bass kicks, and the subtle-yet-ferocious barking of the Dog Blood dogs.
“Chella Ride” is another festival-tested tune that screams Dog Blood. We hear a bit of breaks in this track as well, along with a throbbing Techno synth lead that takes over the breakdown.
The third track, “Shred or Die,” definitely stands apart from the other two originals on the EP, highlighting influences of Metal with heavy guitar riffs and live percussion along with the repeated vocal, Kill em with the beat…
And have a listen to both remixes of the title track from The M Machine and Millions Like Us below.
