The weekend of August 3rd and 4th was a one-two punch of two of the best festivals in America with HARD Summer at LA Historic State Park and Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago. Alex and Sonny teamed up for the pair of shows once again as Dog Blood, and as you’ll see in the photos below, it was a nonstop weekend for the record books.

The weekend kicked off on Saturday at HARD in Los Angeles. We all met up at Sonny’s and headed over to the festival midday.
happy SOTH B-day.

Sonny catches up with 2Chainz and HARD mastermind Gary Richards just before he hits the stage.
The guys had a perfect set time. As the sun was going down and the heat was subsiding, Sonny and Alex played a versatile range of tunes to get the crowd really moving. Techno, Breaks, Dub, and more were thrown in the mix, leaving Dog Blood fans in Los Angeles very happy as the night came upon us…
As darkness fell, the visuals from SuS Boy came into full effect, lighting up the crowd against a beautiful downtown backdrop.
The energy of the crowd was unreal and by the end of the set, a seemingly never-ending sea of people clapped together as the day became night.
Before saying goodbye to HARD Summer, we walked over to the Summer Stage for a pumping set from our good friend, Kill The Noise.
The guys had a very early flight out of LAX to Chicago, but everyone was pumped up to do it all over again at Lollapalooza. We got in around noon, dropped the bags at the hotel, and headed straight to Grant Park.
A few hours later, it was time to take the stage once again.
Lots of happy folks in the crowd for this one.
Sonny and Alex do an EPIC mic toss to thank the crowd.
And one more jump for good measure!
Two amazing festival sets in one weekend.
Thank you HARD and Lollapalooza!
